2nd day at work

It's the second at work and luckily not as bad as yesterday. Yesterday night was madness. The weather just changed dramatically in the evening. It was abnormally cold, plus the sea breeze, it's a killer. I was really struggling to stop shivering. My fingers are numb from the cold, having to tear the tickets made things worse. I only operated one ride yesterday, the Twister. It's similar to those we have in S'pore. It's very easy to operate, and it's for older kids and adults so it makes things easier. Compared to the kids ride, I have a much easier life.

It's such a coincident! The operator who was supposed to be teach me my first ride happened to be Yanni's house-mate. The one who hung out with her almost everyday so they are really very cold. That's great, at least we can have a common topic! hahaha.. Yanni, Viera was all estatic when we talked about ya!! You crazy girl, everyone knows ya haha

Anyway, whatever I can remember about yesterday night was that it was extremely cold and was dead beat after work. I was like a dead fish the moment I dropped onto the bed....

Today I started at the Mini Bumper and later the Elephants. All the kiddos rides. It's the bumper car for kids. They are so so so cuteeeee!!! I don't know why caucasian kids seem to be much more cuter than the asian kids. Not only do they look like angels, they talk cute, walk cute.. everything is just so cute!! LOve them to beats. I enjoyed this ride so much. Simply adorable. Their parents are so supportive too. The way they speak to their children is so nice and encouraging. They will be standing around the fences and cheering their kids on. Like " There you go, buddy!" "You did such a wonderful job!" "C'mon, step on the paddle, turn the wheel, you can do it!" It's so sweet.. We were saying if it's in asia, the parents will simply give the kids the tickets and just walk away after that. Ya? So typical S'poreans/ M'sians. All you can hear are scoldings. You wont get to hear nice words or cheerings at all. I personally can't stand it. How sad..

Everyday after work we will be thinking of what to eat for dinner. I'm the "chef" of the group so I've gotta think of what to prepare. BUt what can I come up with ya? Esp when the ingredients are so limited. There's only pasta, hotdogs, bread, lettuce, beans, maggie mee. I'm already so sick of it. I need so chinese soup!! I want my mum's "dun tang"! Meat here is expensive, veggies and fruits too. This sucks. hah it's only one week and i'm complaining. Actually the food here is great, just that what we can afford is the same old stuff..

We are starting our second job tomorrow at Martell's the restaurant. Oh yeah, extra cash! But not much too cause the schedule is not fixed. But we still managed get about 12 hours this week. And lunch is provided. I wonder if this is good or bad news. Good is we can try the local food for free. Bad is that it's unlimited, just prepare what you want, so I'm not sure if I can stop myself from over-eating. ahhahaha..
